I have loved my time as Chair and winning this award is such an honour. Trees for Cities is a wonderful charity, and the award is down to the achievements and the passion, resilience and creativity that the team puts into improving lives through planting and caring for trees in towns and cities. They make my life as Chair a joy, and I'm certain they will continue to go from strength to strength.

We are absolutely delighted to have won the Digital Innovation of the Year Award, recognising our fundraising platforms' role in inspiring and empowering children to fundraise for amazing charities. It's been a pleasure to get to know so many other amazing charities who were shortlisted and we are looking forward to getting more children fundraising for them on SuperKind!

Winning two awards at the 2022 Third Sector Awards was an absolute dream come true. In a field where dedicated people come together, giving so generously of their time and care to provide change, it is wonderful to have an opportunity to be recognised and thanked by the wider community for the ‘Charity of the Year’ (small) Award. As a small charity, it has provided us with an opportunity to tell our story to a much wider audience than we could otherwise afford or network with, to explore shared connections with other charities and initiatives and to also show how that what we do is recognised within the third sector. I am humbled as an individual to have been recognised for the ‘Chief Executive of the Year’ since it’s an acknowledgement of my vision and passion in enhancing the mental health of young people so that they can grow into happy and healthy adults

The application process was straightforward, the categories were clear and we were impressed that the show rattled through so many awards quickly (so it didn't drag) but everyone (who won) got their moment on the stage.

I would just like to say how easy the entry process was made by your website, yourself and your colleagues. It was great to be able to communicate with your team so easily and your openness to supporting accessibility was particularly beneficial, as not all, if many, organisations are like that. The support for charities and micro SE's was invaluable in terms of the application process too.

The entry process was easy to navigate, well promoted and simple to complete with a good range of categories, reflecting the breadth of work across the sector

I think that having the small, medium and large categories for various awards made sure to keep the awards as inclusive as possible, which is particularly important in the not-for-profit sector!
