Othman Moqbel

Othman Moqbel, a British Palestinian, is a non-profit executive with over 25 years of experience in the humanitarian sector. He served as the CEO of Human Appeal from 2010 to 2017 and is currently the CEO of Syria Relief/Action for Humanity NGO. Othman is also a trustee of BOND, having formerly served as a trustee of ACEVO, and Charity Futures. In 2015, he received the ACEVO Fellowship Award for best CEO of the year. Othman Moqbel remains dedicated to his foundational values of serving others. He believes that true leadership revolves around prioritizing the needs of beneficiaries, especially within the humanitarian sector, where their welfare is of utmost importance. With this ethos, Othman Moqbel aims to drive positive change in decision-making organizations such as the UN, NGOs, and the humanitarian system, both nationally and internationally.
