Wetwheels Hamble

Wetwheels Hamble is a small volunteer lead CIC based on the River Hamble in Hampshire. We provide the opportunity for all disabled people, young and old, including those with profound and complex disabilities to access the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way onboard our specially built fully accessible powerboat.

We remove actual and percieved barriers to welcome people with disabilities on board to discover the joy of the water, gain independence, learn new skills and let the sensory experience the water offers broaden horizons.

For a small organisation we punch well above our weight and create special memories or enhance the old watch our guests grow in confidence hear our non verbal guest giggle & shout see families laughing together when life at home can be tough

We understand that for some, adrenaline is the best thing in the world and yet for others the water helps them find inner calm and supports mental well being.
