The Orchards Team

Certitude is London's leading adult social care provider, supporting over 1,800 people across 17 London boroughs who are living with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs. Certitude’s mission is to give support where it is most needed, helping people to develop new skills, meet new people and ultimately live the life they want.

The Orchards team started with a small, dedicated team in Croydon at the start of the pandemic. The team joined Certitude’s pioneering short stay supported living accommodation to provide support for people experiencing mental ill health who are discharged from hospital. The team have worked tirelessly during the pandemic, and have not only survived, but thrived, demonstrating passion, commitment and dedication to the people they support. In a very short space of time, The Orchards expanded to cover the London Borough of Croydon, Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham.
