The Band of Builders Journey

Band of Builders (BoB) is a national construction charity that provides practical, financial and wellbeing support to members of the UK construction industry and their families who are facing adversity due to illness, injury or life-changing circumstances.

To herald BoB’s seventh year as an organisation, a short cinematic video, “The Band of Builders Journey”, was premiered to reinvigorate the mission, raise awareness of the BoB story, thank existing supporters and encourage further support heading into 2024.

On the night of the video’s premiere in October 2023, an amazing £40,000 was raised, beating the previous total raised at the annual charity ball by £15,000.

In November 2023, the video was also showcased on the UK’s largest construction site, HS2 London, to a community of nearly 2,000 operatives.

Since the premiere, BoB has enlisted 114 new volunteers as a direct result of seeing the film.
