#StopTheFlights is an innovative campaign combining digital and traditional media, public mobilisation, and direct actions which successfully pressured Spanish airline Privilege Style to pull out of the UK government’s plan to remove asylum seekers to Rwanda.

The Rwanda scheme represents a violation to international law, threatens the integrity of the Refugee Convention, and has stark implications for torture survivors who have no choice but to seek safety in the UK. With compelling evidence that torture survivors were among those threatened with removal to Rwanda, torture survivors played a central role in the design and implementation of the campaign.
