Last year marked the charity’s 30th year of supporting clients dealing with debt.

Debt is often thought of as a ‘no-go’ subject, but in 2023 we continued to help shine a light on the help we can offer, whilst campaigning to reduce the harm it can cause.

We managed to overcome funding difficulties and serve a significantly larger client base, created new Partnerships, and enhanced our services for our most vulnerable clients all whilst positively engaging our colleagues.

But we also took time to transform our brand to help ensure that we’re here for another 30 years - with help that’s free and impartial.

Some key statistics which demonstrate our impact:

6.5 million website visits

17,546 people became debt free with our help £11.9m Partner donations

10% increase in the number of people advised
