Medical Aid for Palestinian’s Gaza team: fighting for survival whilst saving lives and protecting dignity

“We strive to do whatever we can, no matter what”. MAP’s team in Gaza were among the first to respond to Israel’s military assault in October and remain one of the only international organisations working to provide humanitarian and medical services, including in the North. In eight months, MAP’s team have faced the very worst experiences you can imagine - displacement, loss of loved ones, surviving on little to no food, inhumanity and destruction. Despite this, the team continue to work tirelessly, risking their lives to deliver essential aid to their communities. MAP’s Gaza team are some of the most strong, brave and steadfast aid workers in our sector and they deserve recognition for all they have done and continue to do throughout the ongoing war on Gaza.
