Street Child

Street Child’s communication team has played a pivotal role in advancing the organisation’s work to support the education and protection of children, often in crisis and conflict contexts. Operating across more than 25 countries, this dedicated team of eight has amplified Street Child’s message through various channels, driving fundraising initiatives and securing top tier media coverage to raise awareness of the transformative power of education.

In the face of global crises and public apathy, the team has excelled and demonstrated exceptional agility, swiftly responding to emergencies, and launching multiple rapid response campaigns to secure vital funds for humanitarian aid. The team also secured two media partnerships, including a standout campaign with The Times and Sunday Times which delivered over 50 pieces of coverage, raising a record-breaking £1.5 million and garnering the support of many celebrities including Dame Helen Mirren, Penny Lancaster and Sir Rod Stewart.

Their innovative initiatives, from ground-breaking exhibitions to expanding digital footprints have reached millions, attracted high-profile attention, and grew social channels by 30%. Street Child’s communication team punches well above its weight, consistently delivering outstanding results and playing a pivotal role in Street Child’s milestone of supporting over one million children into education.
