Laura Sandys

Laura Sandys CBE, founding chair of The Food Foundation, has led the organisation from its small beginnings to its 10th birthday with an incredible record of impact. She had a vision for an organisation which would change the food system to make it easier for everyone in Britain, particularly those on a low income, to secure access to nutritious food which protects their long term health. The Food Foundation has become an award-winning organisation with an outstanding reputation for evidence-led proposals for policy makers and businesses, and campaigns which deliver meaningful, large-scale change in the lives of British citizens. Laura has steered the organisation through a period of rapid growth and impact and showed exceptional skill in her management of the executive team, and chairing of the Board of Trustees.
