JULIET BOUVERIE
Stroke Association
In her short tenure with the Stroke Association, Juliet has had a huge impact, not just on the charity, but across the stroke community. She is a power house for change and innovation, leading the development of a new corporate strategy working with people affected by stroke. In 2019, she made the bold decision to invest in the charity's first-ever TV advert. Juliet aims to improve not just impact but outcomes too for the people we serve.
Stephen King, Stroke Association Chair of the Trustees, said:
'I've worked with many chief executives over my career and Juliet stands head and shoulders above most. Although this is her first Chief Executive role, she demonstrates the qualities of an outstanding leader: courage, passion, focus, determination, compassion and authority. She's earned the respect and admiration of, not just the charity, but the many different health and social care professionals and other charity leaders across the UK. I truly believe that she would be a worthy and deserving winner of this award.'
