2022 was the year that the Weldmar made its leap from legacy marketing Zero to Hero. Pre-2018 Weldmar had no legacy
marketing strategy nor committed investment to promoting and recruiting future legacy gifts. Since then the team has made a gradual and effective investment behind this vital income stream for the charity. The 2022 campaign results culminated in; securing major legacies, raising the profile of legacy giving externally and internally, establishing close relationships with legators, executors and solicitors. The campaign has been held up as a leading example of innovation and featured in both charity legacy and hospice best practice webinars.
