GSK - Save the Children Partnership

Save the Children UK

GSK and Save the Children united in 2013 to reduce preventable deaths and illness of children under the age of five. Over 5 million children under five die each year, many of these deaths could be prevented by vaccinations, trained healthcare workers, correct diagnosis, and affordable treatment. Our innovative partnership combines Save the Children’s vast experience in supporting children and mothers’ health in communities around the world and GSK’s research and expertise, to help reduce preventable deaths and illness in children under the age of five. Over 10-years and with over £50m in funding, our partnership has reached over 3.46 million children across 46 countries. By focusing on running long-term health programmes, strengthening countries’ healthcare systems, and advocating for global change, we believe our partnership can help build a world where no child under the age of five dies from preventable causes.
