Give Your Best volunteer team

Founded during lockdown in late 2020, Give Your Best is a nonprofit offering the first ever online platform where people can donate their clothes so that women and children who are refugees or seeking asylum can shop for free with the agency and dignity they deserve. Our mission is to empower those with precarious immigration status living in clothing poverty to access clothes that makes them feel good, while reducing waste in the fashion and donation spaces by giving clothes a second life with those who need them most. 

Our work over the past year and half has been made possible by our incredible team of volunteers, many of whom have been with us since the start, who have worked tirelessly to process over 11,000 items of donated clothing and supported nearly 1000 refugee women to shop those items online for free. Our team includes members from our community who are refugees or seeking asylum and who not only have helped us shape the work we do but have also become an integral part of the Give Your Best family.
