Giovanna Fletcher

For nine years Giovanna Fletcher has been the most incredible patron and ambassador for the breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! Gi leads the flagship fundraising event 'CoppaTrek with Gi,' which takes hundreds of participants affected by breast cancer on the trip of a lifetime, trekking in places like the Himalaya's, Sahara Desert, Oman, Cornish Coast and Scottish Highlands. Gi walks 100km alongside the trekkers, many who are going through breast cancer treatment, spending time with each individual supporter and camping as a team under the stars for a week. The time she gives to these treks is extraordinary, from reading the applications submitted for a place on the treks, to Zoom calls in the evening with trekkers, to the treks in the UK and overseas, and then hand writing each trekker thank you card after the events including personalised gifts. On top of this dedicated stewardship and care, the treks raise over £1million annually, with the income growing year-on-year. 2024 will see Gi lead her tenth trek for the charity, including the annual 'alumni trek' which is an emotional reunion for all previous trekkers with CoppaFeel!
