Faye Winter

Faye Winter became a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs after finishing 3rd on Love Island in 2021. She was keen to use her newfound fame to do something meaningful and drive support for Guide Dogs, the charity that has been so close to her heart for 5 years. Faye volunteered as a fosterer, providing a home for dogs in training, before finding fame and has been tireless in spreading the word about volunteer fostering to her 1.2 million fans ever since.

With her background as a volunteer she is able to authentically influence by example and the Faye effect has been phenomenal especially in enabling the charity to reach a younger audience and encourage a different demographic of volunteer which has been crucial with our recovery post-pandemic We really appreciate how much time she’s donated to being our Campaign Star and particularly with multiple Guide Dogs campaigns over the past six months, always promoting the all-important role of fostering guide dogs in training. The whole organisation would love to see her recognised as the Celebrity Charity Champion in the Third Sector Awards.
