Family Action | Fundraising Team

Family Action’s Fundraising team is very small in proportion to the income it brings in, and punches well above its weight. When the pandemic arrive, they adapted quickly to the changing needs of the organisation, focusing on the needs of our services users in the context of the unfolding disaster of COVID-19. They continued to deliver planned activity whilst responding to the crisis: including significantly increasing individual giving and corporate support, successful trust and statutory fundraising programmes and significant business systems development. Almost all fundraising streams exceeded target and every single member of the team contributed to that success. They faced the challenges brought by the pandemic full on and not only reached their target of £3.5m, but smashed it, raising in excess of £8million. Thus ensuring that Family Action had the funds to help build stronger families and support them to get through the pandemic and beyond.
