Forster Communications

Forster has worked for charities since our inception 25 years ago. When the pandemic hit and charities were facing a £10bn hole in their finances, we turned our focus to helping them and the communities and causes they serve. That included: • Taking on all the communications at 24 hrs notice for NHS Charities Together’s record-breaking Covid-19 Appeal, playing a crucial role in helping them raise over £150 million so far which is being used to support NHS staff, volunteers and patients as they battle the virus. • Switching the focus of our work for RVS to help recruit 200,000 NHS Volunteer Responders. • Joining a rapid response strategy team as Helpforce developed a new service to help hospitals access non-medical support services from businesses across the UK. • Supporting the development of the Community Action Response with Eden Project Communities - now a collaboration of 35 organisations. • Working with Neighbourly to raise awareness of emergency support available, ultimately enabling 16,000 local causes to help over 4 million vulnerable people. • Providing pro-bono support for cross-sector’ #NeverMoreNeeded campaign, gathering over 1100 signatories from charity leaders for an open letter to the Prime Minister urging more financial support.
