Climate Group

The Climate Group Communication Team acts as a model of how to use comms. to drive climate action at a global scale. We have delivered many successes this year. We ran the only major global climate summit of 2020 not to be postponed, Climate Week NYC, alongside the UN General Assembly. This kept up action, during the pandemic, from governments and businesses. The team has played a critical role in the growth of our business focused energy and transport campaigns. This year they reached the scale and impact of large countries. We’ve kept the show on the road for global states & regional action when national governments faltered. Then while achieving all this, during a pandemic, we refreshed our brand, and built a whole new low carbon website, in lockstep with a new organisational strategy. We constantly strive to do better, including against our own equality, diversity and inclusion targets. Every member of our team leads on critical area of emissions or communications discipline and has contributed to this success. We are a bold team securing real-world emissions cuts now, not in decades. We are proud of our achievements but there is still so much to do.
