Chris Monk

Chris Monk is coming to the end of his term as Chair of Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity trustees and winning this award would be a fantastic way to recognise his dedication and achievements during his time at the charity.

As a former member of NHS staff at Bristol’s hospitals, Chris has a real connection to the cause. He’s been a true advocate for our work – from helping raise awareness to fundraising himself, raising more than £10,000 for the charity.

As Steve, his fellow trustee, said: “Chris is adept at bringing people together and using the skills of his trustees and the wider charity team to best effect, with the patients and their families always at the heart of his thinking and doing. “In my opinion we are lucky to have Chris as our chair and through his leadership we have developed into a highly professional and respected charity in Bristol.”
