Anton Du Beke

Anton Du Beke started supporting The Sick Children’s Trust in 2020 when he kindly donated a dancing lesson for our online auction. The winner of the dance lesson prize was a young girl whose family had stayed in one of our ‘Homes from Home’ when she was seriously ill in hospital. Anton not only had the dance lesson with this seven-year-old super fan but also went out of his way to surprise her on her birthday, hand delivering a gift and singing happy birthday, leaving her overjoyed. Anton has seen the work of the charity first hand and, being a father to twins, identifies with what it’s like for families thrown into chaos when their child suddenly becomes ill. Anton has given not only his time but also a huge amount of energy into his support for The Sick Children’s Trust. Since becoming an Ambassador for the charity last year, Anton’s support has helped us raise over £120,000 through attending and hosting several events as well as raising awareness through his social media channels by sharing videos and messages among his 871,000 followers.
