Amnah Vicars

Amnah has served young people in Liverpool for more than 20 years; raising aspirations, helping remove barriers, and creating opportunities and connections that have changed lives. Deeply respected by the Liverpool community, Amnah is known for her skills in negotiation and building links between businesses, partners, and the community. She develops innovative programmes that connect young people from some of the most disadvantaged wards in Liverpool to opportunities they would not otherwise have had. Amnah is highly regarded by commissioners, councillors, partners, and the young people she supports. Her team members also look to her as a mentor and teacher.

One of the most remarkable qualities of Amnah is her ability to instil confidence and self-belief in those she supports. Many of the young people she works with face significant challenges and obstacles, yet Amnah steadfastly believes in their potential and tirelessly advocates on their behalf.

Whether it is developing projects and courses, accessing funding, developing partnerships, advocating on behalf of young people, providing intensive one-to-one support to young people, or connecting them with valuable resources/opportunities, Amnah goes above and beyond to ensure that every individual receives the support they need to reach their full potential and succeed.
