We’re the only dementia charity tackling all aspects of dementia. We are a vital source of support for everyone living with dementia today, and a powerful force for change by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research discoveries. This year was a transformational year for us as we welcomed the full results about the Alzheimer's disease drug donanemab supporting earlier trial results that suggested the breakthrough drug may slow down the progression of the disease – a turning point in the fight against Alzheimer’s and that science is proving that it is possible to slow down the disease.

We raised more than £100 million in our biggest ever fundraising year. Using strong, direct messaging at all levels has grown our spontaneous brand awareness from 2% to 5% this year, meaning more people are aware of the scale of the challenge and realities of dementia. We continued to support those living with dementia this year our online Dementia Support Forum community had a boost in new registrations- a 15% increase year on year.

And we were delighted to feature as a Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
