Alex Ritchie is a dynamic, courageous Chief Executive who has shown uncompromising commitment over the last two years in strengthening the strategic leadership and operational direction of GlobalGiving UK.

Her transformational leadership has been integral to the charity’s progression and development, and she has engendered a genuine, values-driven culture across the organisation which underpins every element of activity. Alex initiated new ways of working, ensuring the stability of the GGUK operations post Covid-19 pandemic. She created an effective, dedicated business development and fundraising function; and improved staff pay, benefits and compensation structures while doubling the charity’s income from £3.3 million in 2021 to £6 million 2022.
