Anne-Marie Zaritsky

Anne-Marie has worked in volunteer management for over 20 years, and has been Head of Volunteering at Mencap for 7 years. Previous roles have included Alzheimer’s Society where she co-designed and led on the pilot delivery of Dementia Friends.

A champion of accessible volunteering opportunities, over 10% of Mencap volunteers have a learning disability. Anne-Marie is also a Lead Assessor in England for Investing in Volunteers. Keen to practice what she preaches she volunteers for a food poverty charity and is on the board of her local community centre in SW London. A lot of her spare time was spent travelling, now it's more about dreaming and planning.
